Rainbow Fish Classes
We are so lucky to have the two Rainbow Fish classes at The Victory Primary School which cater for children who have Speech Language and Social Communication Difficulties. We offer individualised learning programmes in a stimulating environment. In order to make the learning as fun and interactive as possible we try to excite the children with ‘hands on learning’.
So far this year to support the KS1 unit’s topic of the Three Little Pigs we have been to the woods to build stick houses , to Highbury college to look at brick houses and at the end of the term we will be going to Aspex Gallery to build straw houses. We also work hard to support the children in accessing the mainstream in the KS2 unit with the ultimate aim for children to be able to integrate into the mainstream as soon as they can.
We have 23 spaces from Early Years through to Year 6.
Places are allocated by Portsmouth Council SEN office to children from across the city with Education Health and Care Plans (formerly called statements).
