Head Teacher's Welcome
The Victory Primary School is part of United Learning. In 2010 our school moved into a brand new building with state of the art facilities. We are looking for excellent staff to take us on our journey to Outstanding.
The Victory Primary School, which opened in 2010 is located on the outskirts of Portsmouth and serves a lively and cohesive community. Part of the United Learning group of schools, The Victory is one of the best equipped schools in the area and we are very proud of all the facilities we are able to offer the children and our community.
We have cutting edge ICT equipment, with over 200 mobile devices in the school for children to use and Interactive Boards in every classroom.
The school is set on a large plot of land and we are fortunate enough to have two large playgrounds and five smaller playgrounds in the school. We also have an all-weather pitch which we can use for outdoor games and community use.
We strive to match our outstanding facilities and technology with outstanding provision for the children in our school. This was recognised by Ofsted during their visit in February 2019, when the school was judged good. (To read the full report click here).

I am the Attendance and Inclusion Officer and I have worked in the Victory Primary School for 4 years. It is a great place to work, the children are generally really enthusiastic about school and try really hard. Staff work as part of a team and are really supportive of each other and the children. The assembly's are legendary, just ask the children why.
Mrs S Carpenter - Attendance and Inclusion Officer
I am the School Sport Co-ordinator at The Victory Primary School. Since being here the school has achieved great success in various sports which include: dance, athletics, football, netball, basketball and cheerleading. The school takes part in many competitions which the children really enjoy. The staff are friendly and this is a great environment to work in.
Mrs K Unitt - School Sport Co-ordinator
Back in the mists of time (1980s) I began my career in one of the schools that became The Victory. 15 years later I returned and what an excellent choice that was. Paulsgrove is a unique area and the staff at Victory are just as unique. The staff have one common aim - to help the children to succeed, and in doing that we are supportive of the children, families and each other. That's not to say we don't let our hair down - our rendition of "Let it go" is 2nd to none. So glad I came back.
