Behaviour and Inclusion

Each pod has a Learning Mentor assigned to support children with social and emotional difficulties. Learning mentors work proactively with pupils running programmes such as anger gremlin and ELSA alongside dealing with behavior incidents in accordance with the Behaviour Policy.

The school have developed the use of an Inclusion Room. Children access the room when there is a need and talk through the incident using a restorative approach. Some children have the use of exit cards in order to access Learning Mentor support as needed. Pupil voice can also be heard though worry boxes.
